The Timorese wooden totem is a powerful symbol of spiritual and energetic protection . Made with natural wood and aged with patina painting, it features anthropomorphic figures, which refer to ancestry, together with geometric elements carved in rustic wood that allude to the protective forces that constitute the mystical universe of the island, such as the sea.
