CR582-87

The Kalapalo decorative mask is a piece of wood art by the Minas Gerais atelier Curral da Cor that claims the cultural appreciation of this indigenous Brazilian ethnic group through interior decoration. The structure with simple features in carved natural wood is the basis for the colorful artistic painting in yellow and black - made with genipap - which is peculiar to the ethnic group that resides in an indigenous reserve in the vicinity of the Xingu River, in the north of Mato Grosso. The indigenous mask comes with a metal triangle hanger to facilitate its use in wall decoration and make the environment more original and with the Brazilian essence.
